2021 Christmas Train
Join us for our annual Christmas Train! Upon arrival, you will be asked to remain in your heated vehicle and tune to our radio station (90.9 FM). Groups will be called into the East Troy Depot for check-in and use of our bathroom facilities in an orderly fashion as to not exceed our reduced capacity in the Depot building. Once aboard the train, you will take a ride on heated cars down to Santa’s Workshop (Elegant Farmer) to pick up Santa Claus. Kids will enjoy music and coloring on the way down. The elves are very busy this year, so instead of going into the workshop, we will pick up Santa, who will distribute gifts to children on the way back to East Troy. Given Santa's busy schedule, he will only have enough time to distribute gifts. Parties will receive a bag of decorated cookies upon their return to East Troy. The gift shop will be open for shopping upon your return to the East Troy Depot.
Boarding is only done at the East Troy Depot. The Depot opens at 9am and closes after the last train arrives at the station. The total experience is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your departure. __________________________________________________________ Facemasks Required - all passengers ages 2 & up will be required to wear a face mask, which covers nose and mouth, from the time they exit their vehicle upon arrival until they board their vehicle to leave museum grounds. Patrons who fail to comply by covering their nose and mouth will be asked to leave with no refund given. Children younger than age 2 and those who cannot remove the mask without assistance are exempt. All Christmas Train ticket sales are final regardless of conditions requiring cancellation. No exchanges or refunds will be given. If you are purchasing in a large group with multiple families please purchase under one name so you can be seated near each other. Custom seating charts per train will be made to ensure proper distancing between parties. By purchasing your tickets, you acknowledge the inherent risks of being amongst the public during this time. For everyone's safety, all guests ages two and older will be required to wear a mask. There will be no walkup sales or walkup exchanges. The East Troy Railroad Museum follows CDC guidelines for disinfection of its facilities. The museum, however, cannot guarantee you will not be exposed to COVID-19.
