Private charters are available on weekdays and at select times on weekends. Private charters can been used for:

We have several types of charters:
Private or Party Train Ride
Whatever brings you out for a ride the enjoy experiencing history as you ride on the last 7 miles of Southeastern Wisconsin's interurban system on a vintage trolley or interurban car. Start your trip at the East Troy Depot so you may visit the museum and gift shop and use the restrooms before boarding. If you wish to eat before or after the charter you can bring or arrange for your own food/cake/drinks using the picnic tables at the Depot. School or Educational Institution Train Ride
Use the East Troy Railroad to create a fun and educational experience for students. Riding the ETRM historic cars provides an environment to discuss a wide range of science, electrical and social lessons. The ETRM can provide an approved Wisconsin STEM-based curriculum as part of your visit and train ride. Click here for more information on educational charters.
Train Ride and Box Lunch
The ETRM can arrange for box lunches, soft drinks, and water for your group to enjoy when stopped at a park or before or after the train ride. You are free to use the picnic tables outside the Depot. Click here for dining service menus and information.
Lunch Train
Lunch Train charters offer a lunch dining car experience combined with a scenic trip over the entire railroad. The lunch charters use the same dining cars as our regularly scheduled dinner trains – Chicago South Shore Cars built in 1927. Seating is tables of 2 and 4, 50 seats per car. Dinner Train
Dinner Train charters offer fine dining combined with a scenic trip over the entire railroad. The dining charters use the same dining cars as our regularly scheduled dinner trains – Chicago South Shore Cars built in 1927. Seating is tables of 2 and 4, 50 seats per car. Each car has its own bar. Click here for dining service menus and information.
The trolley and interurban cars hold between 40 and 80 passengers. Multi-Car trains can accommodate up to 100 riders. Multiple trains can be arrange for groups over 100 riders.

Group Pricing Alternative
For groups of 10-30 an economical alternative is to purchase group tickets on a regularly scheduled train. For more information on group pricing click here.
