The ride is a ten-mile round trip; the actual running time is twenty minutes in each direction. There are layovers at each end, however, you may return on any, later, train you like, so that you can enjoy the attractions at either station, except on the night runs that depart from East Troy only. The evening runs will be a bit more intense and not necessarily suitable for small children.

No reservations required; cars are added on an as-needed basis. If you have a larger group, kindly call ahead to help us serve you better.

The East Troy Depot and Gift Shop is at 2002 Church Street (Northern extension of Wisconsin Hwy. 120).  It is open from 11:00 am until 5:30 pm on regular running days. Telephone: 262-642-3263

The Elegant Farmer Station is at the intersection of County Highways ES and J, in Mukwonago, adjacent to the Elegant Farmer Farm Store.

The Museum rides are for demonstration purposes only. It is not a common-carrier passenger operation.   We do not sell one-way tickets.  While we make every possible effort to serve our patrons, due to the nature of vintage railroad equipment, we reserve the right to alter operations at any time.
