North Shore 761 arrives in East Troy

761

Arriving via a special bogie-semitractor rig in early September, 2001, North Shore 761 represents the first Wisconsin-based interurban car to raise a pole in the state in two decades.  As a part of a felicitous trade with the Michigan Transportation Museum that sent South Shore interurban 11 east, 761 expands the railcar collection even further and will give East Troy Railroad patrons a look at what many lovers of electric lines consider the finest of them all, the North Shore Line.
